Q: What are the differences in the training programs?
A: The WORKFORCE West Virginia Center can tailor any training program to meet the needs of your company. We provide structured, classroom-style training through our Region 2 Excel System which can help your employees in numerous areas. We also provide customized training for employers that have unique needs such as training on a new piece of equipment, new software or the like. Additionally, we provide employers with on-the-job training where we will work with you to train your employees while they continue to work at your office. A: Through our WORKFORCE West Virginia Center Learning Centers, we can assist you in hopefully avoiding a layoff within your company. If a layoff is inevitable, we provide Informational Meetings where we bring in career professionals from numerous agencies to give your employees they need to make their transition into a new career or field easier.
